The doors of Greek wineries are wide open and invite you to experience the Greek vineyards in a special weekend filled with the smells of spring and Greek wines. A perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to the magical world of wine and enrich your knowledge on wine. Below you may find all the scheduled events offered by the wineries participating in Open Doors 2015. Ktima Gerovassiliou
On Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of May 2015, the winery Ktima Gerovassiliou opens its doors with happenings that include tours, tastings and parallel events with free admission from 11 am to 7 pm.
Schedule of events:
Saturday 9/5, 12:00
-"Word of mouth, around all-around" 14 people, 14 recipes, 20 people in one village. Different languages, different cultures. Need for common intercourse, communication and friendship. Around a table. The multicultural kitchen of Epanomi. Presentation of the new version. The journalist Maya Tsokli prefaces the new issue and honors us with her presence! Meanwhile, the ladies and gentlemen involved in the issue spread tablecloths on the garden and offer us delicacies from their countries. - Presentation of the new sculpture of the Gerovassiliou collection by the artist Kostas Tsoklis. An exceptional grape is present since the last few days in the garden of the estate, created by the internationally acclaimed artist Costas Tsoklis.

-"Mom, I will from a band" by Burger Project. The musical, interactive children's representation by the creative band Burger Project travels for the first time ever to Thessaloniki and comes to Epanomi to introduce children and adults to the magic of rhythm and melody through a fun musical journey. With the known energy and humor that distinguishes them on stage, the Burger Project “build” in a snap a small magical musical world, playing with the kids (and adults!), dance, sing. In the end the decibels grow bigger with live music and dancing! www.burgerproject.gr
During the weekend
- Radio producer of radio KOSMOS Yannis Dimitriadis comes from Athens and the most colorful radio in Greece and floods us with music from around the world in the garden of the estate!
- Bazaar with books on vines, wine, food, culture.
- Homemade wines by Gerovassiliou: enjoy your meal in one of the taverns of Epanomi with wine purchased from the winery!

Ktima Kokotou
We would like to inform you that the property will remain open during the weekend May 9 & 10, participating in Open Doors 2015, to welcome friends who choose to spend a few hours with us. We’ll be expecting you from 11:00 to 18:00 for a tour in the vineyard, the winery and the cellar, to taste our wines and... why not, walk on our path! The walk starts from our organic vegetable garden, the olive groves, the house and our bee colonies, continues through the vineyard and the winery and ends, crossing the orchard, in Oinodiadromes, the specially equipped tasting room, opposite the church of St. George Methystis! Katogi Averoff
The Katogi Averoff winery in Metsovo awaits you on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10th from 11am until 6pm.
Throughout the two-day event tours of the cellars of the winery will take place and guests will have the opportunity to taste the wines of the company, escorted with local cheeses offered by the Cheese Tositsa Foundation, along with spices and sweet fruit jams by Provil.
Alongside, the ensemble “Trio Jazz In The Moods” will accompany the event with jazz music.
During the event, guided tours and tastings of wines will also take place. Optionally, you can enjoy under the shade of the pergola your wine accompanied by cheeses from Cheese Tositsa Foundation in Metsovo and handmade pies from "Rodia", in special prices.
Our young friends from 4-12 years, will have the opportunity to create their own spring construction under the guidance of facilitators of the small space of art www.mxt.gr (Enrollment is required so please call 2291041650 exten. 105, Monday-Friday 09.00-16.00).
Especially for the day of the event our wines will be sold at special prices. For each wine purchase from 50 euros or more you can join join in the lottery for a 3-day stay in the 4* KATOGI AVEROFF Hotel & Winery in Metsovo.

During the Open Doors 2015 event our winery will remain open for tours and tasting sessions from 11 am to 6 pm on both days.

Tzivani Winery
Events that will take place at our winery during the Open Doors event:
1) Talk about the value of organic farming, tour around the winery, DVD projection with all stages of wine production from the vine to the bottle and tasting.
2) Visit to the Wine and Folklore Museum. The museum houses a rich collection of machines and devices used by our ancestors for the cultivation of vines and production of wine, oil and in general for the production of agricultural products. There is also a large collection of corkscrews, bottling equipment, cooper tools, cobbler, costumes, artifacts, and more exhibits that visitors, especially children can learn from, about the lifestyle and culture of past generations.
3) Browse to the farm estate where visitors can see up close deer, goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, etc.
4) Browse to the Organic vineyard estate.
5) Nature lovers can walk or take their bikes and enjoy the nearby forest.
6) Many more surprises such as traditional dances, songs etc.

Manousakis Winery
Manousakis Winery, will remain open for the event "Open Doors" on 9 and 10 May, from 10:00 am until 18:00 pm for tastings of the Nostos wines. Also, visitors will be welcome to visit for free our gallery with the exhibition of modern art of Mrs. Alexandra Manousakis, traditional “Woven” as well as the photo exhibition of the Manousakis family.
The tours will take place on the following hours: 10:00, 12:00 and 16:00 (every two hours). You do not need to book in advance, if you wish the tour to be in the Greek language. www.manousakiswinery.com

We gather under the big pine in the middle of the vineyard in Spata, relax and gaze at the springtime vineyard, discuss, try organic grape products, wines with appetizers by Georga family. We participate (if we feel like it) on a tour, games, mini seminars, singing. Children are welcome. Dogs are welcome in responsibility of their escorts.
Participation is free.
Prior preparation of snacks is required, so for your best service please indicate your participation by EMAIL to info@geowines.gr by Friday 15/5 17:00.

During the event “Open Doors 2015” Guests will have the opportunity to take a tour around the production area and taste the wines produced by the small family winery at 3 Ippokratous St. in Keratea, Attica.
