By reading this article you will find yourself in a pristine place on the mountain surrounded by nature, where, during the night, the slightest light (you will have to cover even your flashlight with a red membrane) is not allowed, so that the astrophotographers, who will have set up their colossal equipment, can take photos of distant galaxies and constellations. During the day, the scientists will offer courses for all levels and ages and will tour you with simply put words in the distant world embracing the planet, the universe.
Amateur astronomers from all over Greece will have gathered there, who will be in their comfort zone for a 7th year in a row, under the enchantment of the dark skies on the Greek mountains.
Moreover, you will hear many interesting discussions and both the participants and hosts, astronomical associations of the country, will be more than happy to introduce you to the world of star observation. You won't even need to have your own equipment, since you will be able to observe the distant bright co-travelers via the telescopes set by the hosts.
It will be a great festival of science, inundate with a particularly pleasant mood of those who adore what they are doing and want to propagate it to others.
This summer the 7th PanHellenic Excursion will be held in Kastoria, by the Association of Solar and Planetary Observers on 5/6/7 of July 2013, in Livadia Kotylis in Grammos, in the area where the National Reconciliation Park is located.
Attend the excursion and the experience and knowledge you will gain, even if you don't keep on climbing mountains in search of astronomical phenomena, will certainly be so beautifully special and will accompany you for the rest of your life.
