Up on Dili Hill stands the Church of Anastaseos (1873-1909) dedicated to the "Resurrection of the Nation". It is a cross-domed church with two belfries and made of ashlar stone. Byzantine and Neoclassical features coexist in its interior. Here, you will have the opportunity to see portable icons preserved since the 19th century. You can visit the Orthodox Church on foot going uphill the narrow historical alleys of Ano Syros.
