The small harbor of Porto Boufalo, washed by the waters of Eviakos, is located on the southwest side of the island, in Distioi municipality. You should see the anchor from a very old shipwreck (1657) of a trading ship that was found in the harbor. The beach is not famous for its waters, but you can have a swim. The seabed is not really deep, is sandy with some stones. The beach has showers, a beach volley field, a café and small taverns offering fresh fish. It’s suggested for a one-day trip of relaxation, especially if you have a sailing boat, as you’re given the opportunity to anchor in the harbor.
